Evan Morris
« on: Wednesday 22 December 10 15:11 GMT (UK) »
Hello, an appeal to anyone doing their Morris (or Maurice) family history in Radnorshire. I have for many years been searching for Evan Morris born about 1799/80. He stated on the 1851 census that he was born in Radnorshire. He moved to Monkswood Monmouthshire and married in 1811. Two children were born in the following 2 years then there is a 7 year gap before 3 more children, I suspect he was serving in the Napoleonic war, yet cannot find any lists for Monmouthshire.

Happy Christmas to you all,
Best wishes
Brithi :) :)

Hi
Napoleonic war dates 1790-1815
http://www.napoleonsims.com
I know ther was boy soldiers but what makes you think he was in that war?
YOu say he was born 1799-1780 and married in 1811 have you got his date of birth wrong? he would have married very very young?
Or have you sorted out this request?
