The Gruber Family
« on: Friday 24 December 10 03:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

Can anyone shed light on a family known as the Grubers?  They named all their kids by the first initial M.

They came up from London in the eighties and moved into farm in the Kirkcudbrightshire. My name is Joe
and Mrs Gruber was my house mother in a children's home she ran in London. I can be reached at *

Hi Joe
Rootschat is not a forum for finding living people and we always remove any details from the boards.  I have amended your post but I hope it still makes enough sense for people to contact you if they can help.  This will have to be via our private message system so please reply to this post to activate it.    You can find some tips for searching for living people on these RootsChat topics:
RootsChat Topic: Searching for living relatives and Rootschat
RootsChat Topic: Tracing Living Relatives

Regards
Andrea

Thanks. This really is a one shot deal. I live in the States now but would be pleased as punch to reconnect with her. She was the one who pointed me in this direction in my young life.

Pleased to report that it looks as if Joe did find (and speak to)  who he was looking for!

Good old BT and the PM system  ;)
