Both the IGI records mentioned in reply #12 give mother as Ellen Ryan.

By 1881 the family is in England- 2 Crown Passage High St., Minster In Sheppey, Kent, England (RG11 - Piece/Folio 0978/83, Page 35)

I thought that the Hackett's were just boarders but by 1891 it looks like Henry has married the mother Alice Hackett and produced a few more children.  ;)
