Chemical Works Near Bexleyheath in 1920s
« on: Tuesday 04 January 11 15:06 GMT (UK) »
My great grandparents were married at the Dartford register office in June 1921.

The groom, Albert Pratt, is listed as a "mixer at chemical works."  His home address is 5 Ash Place, Erith Rd, Bexleyheath.  The bride also resided in Bexleyheath prior to the marriage.

Any thoughts on how to find out more information about possible facilities or his employment at one?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I suppose I should add that I've seen several options in the Kent directory for 1913 including:

Burroughs, Wellcome & Co, Phoenix Mills, Dartford
Dartford Chemical Works Limited, Victoria Rd, Dartford

All the other options from 1913 seem a bit out of the way.
