This may be a red herring but there's a marriage record on www.irishgenealogy.ie in the Kilmurray, Movidy, Kilbonane, Canavee parish of NW Cork for Denis Callaghan and Hon Mahony, witnesses Patk Mahony & Mary Kearney  :-\

That's 1845 agho which would fit in with ages. What a good find. :)

And really, as that is all that was asked - I'll leave it to lavender 123 to see what is made of it.

 ;)

i ould be  grateful for the link for denis and honarah marriage, also thomas callaghan on the cenusus fo r 1911 or 1901 when they moved back to  seaview avenue north dock, had other children, a my grandfather edward callaghan, was born 1893  but only some of the children are on the census, the other children must have stayed with relations in london, dont know? if this is my g/g/grandfather denis and honarah it will be marvalous, as i have been searching my roots since my father timothy callaghan died 4 years ago, .   thanks.. :)

I'm not sure that London census fits after all...

based on the 1911 census details in reply 2 it looks like Thomas would have been born about 1861.

see : Callaghan family, Dublin - 1911

this is my g/grandfather.thomas callaghan,my grandfather edward who was born in 1893 is not on the irish census, he would have been eighteen, so. he might have been in london

There's also a baptism for a child to Denis and Hanora listed in the same parish :

Baptism of John Callaghan - 9 Jan 1847

Unfortunately no place of residence is mentioned on the baptism either, but the parish appears to cover areas in Co. Cork just west of the city.
