Where is he?
« on: Tuesday 11 January 11 16:46 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I have a G Grandfather George Sewell b 1829 in West Keal Lincolnshire
I can find him in the 1861 Census RG9/2352/61/10 married to Mary A and 4 children, his occupation is a Joiner.
I can find him in the 1881 Census RG11/3233/97/8 same wife some of the children missing and still a Joiner
They are living in Grantley Street Spittlegate Grantham on both Census possibly different numbers
Can anyone find them in 1871 please or their marriage any help would be appreciated (There are several George Sewell's in the area at this time).

Thanks

FreeBMD has the following marriage

George Sewell and Mary Ann Smalley, Spilsby, Sep 1850, 14  796.

Mary's place of birth is Goulceby, quite close to Spilsby

Possibility?

regards

Hi

I think this could be him and Mary Ann living with her parents in 1851 but he is down as their son.
