Hourston family

I'm trying to find out information about Robert Hourston and his family. He was married to Margaret Duggan and they had 7 children. I have them in the 1911 census living in  Brasenose Road Kirby. Robert died in 1929, Margaret in 1954.
Their children were:
Eileen Isabella, James, Robert, Margret Mary, Edward J, Beatrice A and Kathleen.
Robert was from Orkney origianally and Margaret from Ireland.

Hi Airdlass, which way your trying to trace, be it forwards or backwards?
I found a few military records for Hourston's born/living in Orkney and as it been a small place may well be coneted to yours?

the marriage is on Lancs bmd,,,i know u know her maiden name,,,but now you know the church,, if you can get to a record office or library ,you can look up the marriage and find parents names,,,,saves buying a cert

I think the address will be Brasenose Road Kirkdale not Kirkby they are different places!
