Hi again Norrie,
Thanks for getting back!
Margaret was originally an Anderson (parents William & *Margaret) She'd have only been about 37'ish when she died. Michael - her widow - went on to re-marry...& think continued living in the St Andrews /St Leonards area.
(Margaret's *mother was originally a 'Pringle' from Markinch)
Cheers again,
Jesszgran

What a guy you are ... you must have some collection of images?
I have over 16,000 in 23 fife cemeteries

Hello Norrie,
I recently came across this post and wonder if you can help me. My great aunt Margaret Allan was born in 1870 in Cathcart Renfrewshire. She moved around a lot in her lifetime. In 1894 she married a Robert Marshall in New Monkland. In the 1901 census she and her family were in Falkirk Stirling. On 17 Nov 1953 she died at Kirkwood Cres., Crossford, Dunfermline. Her son Robert registered her death. I don't yet know when and where her husband died.
Kind regards, Nan

Thanks Norrie for checking to see whether or not Margaret Marshall MS Allan was buried in Fife. I appreciate your efforts on my behalf. You have certainly provided a lot of information for many people. Keep up the good work.

Hi Norrie, What a remarkable service you are providing. I hope you might be able to assist me with two children, interred in the same grave I believe, in 1825 and 1826. Information I have is from  MARKINCH BURIALS, 1799-1854
http://www.fifefhs.org/Records/Markinch/markinchbc.htm
CLARK, HEUGH (8m): son of Nicoal Clark at Markinch; 5 Mar 1826;  left side of sister, Mary Clark, interred 7 Jan 1825 (No 2 1825)
CLARK, MARY (5): dau of Nicoal Clark at Markinch; 7 Jan 1825
Any help would really be appreciated. Their parents Nichol Clark and Margaret Clark nee Dunbar left Scotland with all or most of their surviving children to settle in Australia in 1840. Nichol and Margaret died in Sydney NSW.
Many thanks for your work.
Janet
