I was wondering if you have any photos of Johnston headstones from any of the Markinch graveyards. specifically those of James, Elizabeth and Elspeth Johnston, they are all pre 1855 and in the Parish graveyard, I am intrested in any others you may have too since the family seem to have been present in some numbers in this area. I am grateful for any assistance you can give me.
Mac

Hello,  I found an ancestor's burial record in
Markinch Burials 1799-1854
Markinch Churchyard

MACKIE, DAVID: at Markinch; 19 May 1824; left side of daughter-in-law

How can I learn if there is a headstone?
Thank you. Rea

Thank you so much for checking that out!  Very kind of you.
At least records were kept of burials. Again, thank you.

Norrie

I am looking for details of and a photograph of a headstone at Northall. The principle names are Alexander TYTLER and Mary STONE but there are several other names. Alexander died in 1908 and Mary in 1905.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi Norrie
My great grandfather John Eccles died on May the 27th 1935 his last known address was
100 station rd thornton parish of Markinch. Do you know what graveyard he would have been buried in? Or you you have him in your file.
Thanks angela.
