Karen- is there an Irish connection further back? From your last post it looks like Michael was born in Leeds, England and was in England in 1901 and 1911?
If you are trying to find details of Michael's parents this thread you'll need to check English records- is Michael's father's name and occupation listed on his marriage certificate? have you found him in earlier census records (hopefully as a child with his family), etc.

P.S. typing messages all in capitals is considered shouting and I'm sure you didn't mean to do that  :)

hi
i have the same information as you will have to get his marriage certificate but i have come across two entries for his marriage but with different surnames do you have any idea what this means
thank you karen
sorry about the capital letters

There seems to have been more than one establishment with the same name and it might be that if he was born in Leeds, West Riding, Yorkshire then the West Riding might have his details.

The a2a manorial record site has nine SHIBDEN records and it looks like there's a registry of children's details.

Use the link below and enter "Shibden school" in the search section "all these words"

Good luck.

That looks more promising for school records but if someone could find him in 1871 census (aged about 3 years) then there's a chance his parents, and other siblings, might be listed.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi,

Have you seen this possible Michael in 1871?

Bridget SHEARDEN seems a bit old to be a daughter but that is what the image looks like, although it looks like it may have been written over.
