Irish 1901 census problem(complete ,thanks.)
« on: Saturday 29 January 11 14:02 GMT (UK) »
Hi,I tried to find a census return on the national archives site today and discovered that the return for 33 New Row south which is Merchants quay D.E.D with my Mooney family seems to have been removed,I can still find them in 1911,There is another New Row but this is a separate place in a different D.E.D,I was about to save the link to the actual household return but now can't find it.I wonder if there is some work going on at the site which is causing some returns to disappear and wonder if anyone else is having this problem? I know it was there before.

Looked at the original page and can't see them listed there at all under 33- what names and ages are you looking for in 1901 census?

Hi Aghadowey, the names are Patrick Mooney -head of houshold
wife Mary Mooney
son Patrick
son Michael age 4
daughter Mary age 13
Can't remember parents ages in 1901 at the minute,my grandmother was definitely 13 in 1901,their ages on the 1911 are a bit different in the other members of the houshold. but Mary is married and left the home in 1911.I have the 1911 returns.

That's okay- there are missing bit of the census apparently and at least you had enough information to find them.
