DURHAM: BIRTH ONSBY TAYLOR
« on: Sunday 17 April 05 11:54 BST (UK) »
Hi guys,

I'm looking for the birth date of Onsby Taylor. He married Mary ellen Todd in 1925. The had 2 kids: John Mervyn Taylor and Myra Alma Taylor.

I found someone born in June 1905 in Houghton, but I don't know if this is the right person. The birth indexes doesn't give me the mothers maiden name.

Can anyone please help?
Taylor - Chester-le-Street
Briggs - Chester-le-Street
Hade - Ireland
Carter - Wales

I believe the only way of being sure is to get the marriage certificate for Onsby and Mary Ellen and the certificate for the birth you have found (and which seems to be very likely). You'll then be able to check if their father's names are the same.
