Arrived Melbourne on board the Parsee in May 1858.

and Henrietta Quarrell, b. Camperdown, VIC 1873 possibly to the same parents.

thanks for confirming Henrietta's parents.

In various online trees, there is a mention of an Alfred Quarrell marrying a Martha Jane Mason.  If possible, would you be able to check if and where she comes into the picture.

Just was red posted - Alison you certainly have been busy.  Thanks so much for what you've done.  Have a good day at work.  Probably about the time you get home, I'll be heading of to do same.
