Gerard Graham, Putney, 1873
« on: Saturday 05 February 11 22:43 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for the parents and siblings of Gerard Gay Graham born in Putney 16/5/1873. I think his father was William Graham.

Gerard married Lilyan Kipling Esslemont in 1912.

Can anyone help please?

Gerard's baptism details are as follows:

26 July 1873, St John's, Notting Hill

Gerard, born 15 May, son of William GRAHAM (barrister) and Sarah Ann, of Ladbroke Grove.

I must say I can't see a birth registration for him on FreeBMD.  The registration for a Notting Hill birth (which as Jennifer says would be consistent with all his census entries) would be Kensington.  There's nothing which suggests a Putney birth either. I note his elder sister Ethel's birth was duly registered in Kensington district in 1868.

Have changed his birth place to Kensington - I was just going by the census address in Putney.
Thanks, all.

Gerard Gay Graham was born in Putney.  The registration district may have been Kensington, but he was born in Putney

Gerard born 16 May 1873, family moved to Wandsworth(Putney) Do you have access to Ancestry?  I have put link to his Electrical Engineering biography on my Graham Family Tree. But I'm sure you know all this now    Ge1234 on Ancestry
