Thenunns - in answer to your question, before civil registration began in Sept.1837 parents names are not shown on marriage records in parish registers - original record will show witnesses but more often than not these are not family members.

You are at the stage now when you have to rely on parish records.   Baptisms for Stradbroke pre 1813 do not appear to available on line (Elizabeth Musk bc.1810 Stradbroke per census).

Robert Nunn from census bc.1807 Burgate, Suffolk - there are some online baptisms but the coverage between 1800 and 1810 seems very patchy.  None at all for 1803-4 and 1807-8 which I doubt was the case.   You might need to consult the original parish records held at the Suffolk Record Office to get this checked.  (I note from census that an Abraham Nunn bc.1806, Francis Nunn bc.1807, Charles Nunn bc.1807 are all said to be born in Burgate but none of them show in the patchy online coverage available).

Robert nunn 1660-1733 married Ann Mortimer 1663-1726,
Daniel nunn 1620 married Margaret Tree 1625-1695.
These were thomas nunn father and grandfather
Thomas married Sarah Eastwick 1680-1775.
My family is Stammers, so Elizabeth who married John Nunn, had a son called John Stammers my 3rd great grandparent.

Hi,
Maybe of interest.
My 4th great grandfather was John Stammers, son of Elizabeth Stammers 1777-1824 and John Nunn 1778-1860.
Tracing Johns direct parental line back, but stuck at
Daniel Nunn 1620 and wife Margaret Tree 1625.
Any help appreciated
