K,
I was on chatterbox and was looking up the 1841 when I noticed you had left.
Need more info - dob or a first name.  There are 20,000 listings.

My sincere apologies Joan. It seemed like everyone was quiet in there, so I thought I would pop out to the forum to post!
A Joseph Atkinson d. in 1846 address given as Denholme Lane, Denholme.
Can you see any Atkinson's there.
Sorry again, Katharine.

Sorry Joan, in 1841 it is probably listed under Thornton (thornton by Bradford). K.

Katherine,
I am going to have to give this one up for tonight - late my time!

Under Thornton, there is Thornton Dale, Thornton Steward and Thornton Watlass
Thornton by Bradford comes up as Bradford and there are 8 Josephs ranging in age from 10 mos to 75 years.

If no one sends any info to you please contact me and I'll see what I can find...

JL. Yes I did see all the posts to that thread.

This lookup is different. I am asking if anyone can see an ATKINSON family (particularly for a Joseph ATKINSON) living in Denholme Lane, Denholme in 1841.

I have a reference for a Joseph Atkinson buried in Denholme Church in 1846. No age is given for him, but his address is given as Denholme Lane.

This is a different person to the John Atkinson in the other thread, and as far as I know Denholme House is not the same as Denholme Lane (I think!).

Thanks, Katharine.

Hi Katherine

In your first message, you were looking for Atkinsons in Denholme

Hi. I am after any ATKINSONs living in Denholme Lane, Denholme, W.Yorks in 1841 census please. Katharine.

Now you're asking for a particular Atkinson in Denholme Lane.

I have a reference for a Joseph Atkinson buried in Denholme Church in 1846. No age is given for him, but his address is given as Denholme Lane.

Do you want them all or just him? I think it might be a good idea to sit down and work out exactly what you want before you make a request. Otherwise it can cause unnecessary work for anyone who is trying to help you.
