Hi all,

Not sure how old these posts are but i live next door to the Gardeners Cottage (Bothy) and look after the lady who lives there. Im currently trying to upkeep the garden and restore it to its former glory.

Its still there which is great and has 2 stables in the garden.

The lady who lives there is lovely. Nice to read about its history.

Dean  :)

There was a farm on Alvaston Street next to the church called The Grange.  This was farmed by the Briggs family.  So I don’t think John Briggs farmed from The Grange on Shardlow Road, which is a different place.
