Wondering if marriage registers show details of the parents of the bride and groom. 

Can anyone help with Thomas Wade & Catherine Harvey please.  Date of marriage May 1815

Parent details were not recorded until civil registration in 1837.

witnesses Leonard Harvey and Lucy ........ (illegible).

Thomas, son of Matthew and Elizabeth Wade baptised 25 October 1790

Thomas, son of Thomas and Diana Wade baptised 31 August 1781

Matthew Wade married Elizabeth Ewerdine both OTP Uppingham by banns on 11 January 1787 witnesses William Ingram and Samuel Barritt.

No luck with the surname Harvey at this point.

Parents JOSEPH and ANN

Now on the IGI Catherine is the only one on the Batch.
Is it possible her Parents were not originally from Rutland?
Witnesses on Marriage Record were a Leonard and Lucy*;

(leonard/susannah seem to have gone back to Kings Cliffe and Christened Children there including a Lebbeus, Source F/S Pilot)

My Net is extremely slow at the moment so cant search Census for them in 1841.
There is a Robert Islip in Rutland born c 1786 but I cant load any other info at present and have been trying for 10 minutes

1841 Robert does not have a Wife or Children at home.
1851 Census he is in Seaton, Rutland (image is impossible to read)
Family Trees have him married to Lucy and having several Children born to them 1816-1827.

previous info. posted for me gave a Thomas son of Thomas & Diana Wade baptised in 1772 and this one in 1781 is just the one I needed to confirm that I am onto the right Thomas Wade. First Thomas must have died.    I'll digest the rest of your info and thanks again.

I'm wondering if there's a way for anyone to find a marriage record for Thomas Wade & Diana Dorothy ??  as these are my people.

Have found out that Thomas Wade MAY have married Diana dorothy Stevens.      Could anyone come up with a marriage,  probably around 1771 as she was baptised in Dec 1751.  She was baptised in Grantham, Lincoln.
