David Christie of St. Cyrus, Kincardine

Does anyone have the death record for a David Christie, who I believe was born in 1789 in St. Cyrus, Kincardine and died on January 8, 1860 in St. Cyrus? I am trying to confirm who his parents were.

Hi Ev ... The death date I was given for David is Jan 08, 1860 in St Cyrus, but this has not been confirmed by any sources yet. From what my family in Stonehaven have told me his wife's name was Elizabeth Gall, born circa 1790 in Fordoun, Kincardine. Their children, as best as I can tell, were as follows:

David Christie, born 1814 ... George 1916 ... John 1818 ... Jean 1819 ... Alexander 1822 ... William 1823 ... Annabella 1826 ... Thomas 1828 ... Jessie 1831. They were all born in Kincardineshire.

On scotlandspeople there are 2 deaths listed for Angus where the death year is 1860 both are female, but there are non with a birth year of 1790 +/- 10year.

The same results cover the whole of Scotland.

brother of david ?
i wonder if this is where that death date came from ?

I believe this is my David in the 1841 Census ... his birth year then was given as abt 1786 in Kincardineshire. I'm at a loss as to why David wouldn't show up on SP though.
