Arnott Family - Kinross
« on: Saturday 12 February 11 22:26 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone,
My 2x great grandfather was David Arnott, born 1821 in Kinross-Shire - at age 31 in 1852, David arrived in Victoria, Australia - the remaining family members had left Scotland and travelled to America, but David continued on.
John Arnott and Christian Storrer were David's parents with David Arnott and Margaret Skinner being David's parents.  Unfortunately I do not have dates of events and am hoping someone may be able to assist or direct me to a link - i'm not certain how much information is out there regarding the Arnott and their ancestors.
Thanks.

Carole you come to my rescue yet again!  I'm unable to access the beta site for some reason - computer keeps telling me "internet cannot display website!"

This is the first time I've actually had David Arnott's date of birth, so that is fantastic - I've been able to cross off a few on my "to-do" list!

Once again though, I've miswritten names.

My 2x great grandfather David's parents were John Arnott & Christian Storrer
My 3x great grandfather John's parents were David Arnott & Margaret Skinner

So the David baptised on 22 February 1778, is that David & Margaret's son?

Do you access the internet via Internet Explorer or through your ISP's server?

I'm with AOL and sometimes have problem as I access via the AOL server

I frequently find accessing via Mozilla Firefox is the answer
