Madigans of Limerick

I am looking for any information on THOMAS MADIGAN born abt 1800 m. to CATHERINE MAHONEY.  They had a son John b. June 24, 1844.
John immigrated to Ontario, Canada.
I would like any info on Thomas, his parents, siblings or other children.

I have found that Thomas and Catherine had son John b. 1844, Catherine b.before 1850 (m. John Kehoe in Ontario, Canada), Ellen, and Mary.  Apparently there are also  one or more sons, but haven't found them yet.  ???

I anything sounds familiar to anyone please let me know.

Hi there.

I have an ancestor Michael Madigan, born in Limerick in 1845 (I think?) His parents were also a Thomas and Catherine, although her maiden name was Sheehy. Not sure if this could be the same couple? I know nothing further of Michael's life in Ireland, but he emigrated to Victoria, Australia and was married there. I've heard there are a few Madigans in Limerick, but maybe it's just a coincidence :)

Parish Co Limerick.

Patrick Madigan, 12 November 1848,
Newcastle West Co Limerick.

Daniel Madigan, 31 August 1851,
Newcastle West Co Limerick.

All the Parish's can be
viewed On Google Maps.

I have been unable to find info on the Madigans in Ireland apart from Michael's birth register.

Correcting some information that has been posted:

Date of Marriage:-
Thomas MADIGAN & Catherine SHEEHY wed on 6th August 1845 as recorded in the Catholic Register at the time http://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000634930#page/1/mode/1up.

Location of Parishes:-
The "parishes" named in Catholic ceremonies (Baptism, Marriage and Burial) are not the same as civil, administrative or electoral regions.  They are known as ecclesiastic parishes.
Boundaries are determined by the Catholic Church, and can vary over time.

The appropriate site to access accurate map location of Catholic Parishes is https://registers.nli.ie/.  Google maps is not recommended.
