apparently William was a plumber.

On the 1901 census (see link) George gives his place of birth as Dublin c1885, but I'm not seeing any good matches for him at the moment on the Birth Index as George or George Alexander.

I would say Harolds Crop is a typo or misreading of Harold's Cross in Dublin

The Irish Genealogy wesbite only has CofI records for Co. Kerry, Co. Carlow and parts of Dublin City and county at the moment.

That certainly fits with the occuation you have for William on George's marriage, and could also fit with George being born in Dublinas per the census returns.

link to the record : Marriage of William McLean & Dorah Leech - 22 Feb 1869
Parish is St. Marks, Church of Ireland

Baptism of a possible brother to Dorah Leech :

  Thomas Leech - 1 April 1849
Parish is St. Nicholas Within, Church of Ireland

Father's name is also William and has the same occupation of Shoemaker as Dorah's father on the marriage record you found.
