Dominnick & Margaret Giblin, Roscommon
« on: Sunday 20 February 11 14:04 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if someone could help me please to find more about Dominnick Giblin  (shoemaker by trade) dwelling place Kilgarriff and his wife Margaret Giblin (nee Patten), as I have been unable to find anything about them.
Known to be in the District of Frenchpark in the Union of Castlerea in the County of Roscommon on February 17th 1876  for the issue of their son's birth certificate Daniel Giblin, my grandfather.
They were of RC religion, but I don't have a name for their local church.
Dominnick and Margaret had an older child James, born 1867abt.
All the above details and spelling have been taken directly from a 1916 copy of Daniel's birth certificate, as written by Registrar Jordan Loughlin.

Many thanks - hope someone can help.

Not sure if this is the same couple but LDS site has a record which might be them (as the names are in Latin it's possibly a Roman Catholic baptism)
Joannes Giblin
