Hi wondered if anyone can help out with a place query.

Looking for Garreddw methodist chapel in Ffestiniog. we have the name on a family marriage certificate but i can find no mention of the place anywhere.

Can anyone help ?

There used to be a Methodist chapel at the foot of Garreg Ddu in Blaenau Ffestioniog. On later maps, it was a Presbyterian Church. Looking at Google Street View, it is now a garden.

An article in a Welsh publication, February 20th 1879, refers to the "establishment about a year ago of  Garreg Ddu Church" and mentions how active it had been in attracting members.

It was Calvinistic Methodist.

Thanks so much for the help I'm sure this is the right place .   
My ancestors were Calvanists so this all fits and looking at the register again i can see the spelling now . I'm not very good with Welsh names so don't always recognise the spellings especially when the writing is hard to decipher anyway.
Once again thank you so much , this was my first post so i was a bit apprehensive especially after posting in the wrong place originally.
