Anyone heard of Bryngwawr in LLanddarrog. This is where my  Great grandfather lived at the time of his marriage and his father was a farmer.(John Lewis) Could this have once been a farm??

What does  Cilai uchaf mean, and is this a place in Llandarogg?

I think Cilai Uchaf is the name of the farm, in the hamlet of Cilai, Llanddarog.

Uchaf means Upper or Higher. Cilai is from "Cil" meaning 'corner, angle; retreat, recess, nook; river source'
