Hi

Found this thread whilst Googleing.

Brought back memories, I used to go to the post office & also remember the Jones family.  My mother was Kath Booth from Well House farm & I used to stay there with my Gparents (George & Nancy) during school holidays.

At this rate, we'll get the whole village back together again, or most of them.  ;D ;D

Have been to Little Budworth today to look where my Dad lived. My Dad was Thomas Rutter and he was Nancy Booth's brother. I went to Well farm as a child - i remember the outside loo!

Hello Lilian

I do remember you and your brother. I also remember going "under the ivy"

I heard today that Edna Rutter died recently and was buried in LB.

I have been compiling a family tree and you could help fill in some gaps if you would be interested?

Hi: and welcome to Rootschat.  Now you're going to have to remind me whereabouts the Gardener's Cottage was at Whitehall.  And give me a clue as to your name, please.  It's 48 years since I finally left Little Budworth, and I only returned home at weekends after leaving school in 1959!!!  ::)

I'm John Parkinson

I can remember travelling back and too to Liverpool with you sometimes, after your dad took us back and to the station.
