yeah! i found this on day 2 of my family search.
Totally amazing resource. why can't all councils do that?
although still births are not on there so i am venturing west in the next week or so to view those records!

This is an incredible resource. I've found three of my GG Grandparents in the Old Cemetry at Castleford. The fact that it includes grave numbers is a huge bonus. As I'm only a few miles away I'm going to pop over and see what condition the graves are in. Well done WMDC (that's one thing at least!).

i found my grandfathers siblings who died before he was born and were never mentioned as he was growing up!

We're going to visit the grave soon!!!

Where can I find information for Heckmondwike Burials?  The Huddersfield family history society seem to have very little information on this area.

Sue you may have to go to Kirklees council i think its at Huddersfield their burials office...what dates are you looking for?

I understand that Kirklees Council charge around £15 for one burial search.  Is this correct does anyone know?
