Birth Place query
« on: Wednesday 23 February 11 18:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi all, I am trying to decipher from a birth certificate a place of birth for one of my ancestors children. Can anyone help please?

Mary Jane Stewart  (illigitimate) b 2nd September 1869, parents Barbara Stewart (no father named)
The place of birth under the DOB is something like this ???
Snadose Parke, St Cyrus.
Does anyone have any  ideas as if this is a hospital or an area

Many Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave

It is showing as Snawdon Parks, St Cyrus on the 1871 census transcript. Not many household there, about 5 groups. One of the entries shows as Snawdon Park Farm. From the occupations, looks like a farming community.
