Why not go for a high grade camera phone? Combine the two articles in one, less to carry, and I believe there are now phones available with 5mp cameras which should be enough  to produce an acceptable image.

Despite having a shed load of cameras of all sorts of vintage and format, it riles me to admit that my most often used camera for gravestones is my Nokia phone 5mp although I did seek it out  (not new) as it had a Tessar lens and Xenon flash.

Having said that how the picture is taken, where the light is coming from and the time of day etc. are arguably of equal importance

This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.

Whatever camera you get… use it… use it for everything… beauty of digital is you don’t have to spend a fortune getting the film developed, and then discover your pictures are c**p… keep the good ones… ding the rest…

I bought a rolle when I went touring Scotland last year, and forgot to pack my camera… took over twenty five thousand photos… ditched about two thou… but with a digital camera you can see straight away if the pictures a good’un… fantastic fun.

Want the latest cannon now… in my dreams… I took photos of every street sign I passed… so I could keep track of my journey… I was up there a year, and went down every road that went to the sea… wonderful…
