It does not make sense but it looks like Munroy Greela or Grula?
Perhaps it was entered as a guess  ie it sounded like.

I looked for variations on Munroy Grula, but I couldn't find anything remotely similar.

I think Aunt Sophia's origins are going to remain a secret!

Sophia Pamplin b. abt. 1816, Ireland(?), married
William White, in 1837, at Bottisham, Cambs.

Actually, www.thecore.com/seanruad is better for finding townlands and parishes in Ireland.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Using the links (thank you!), the closest looking town I've found is Murvey, Gallway, but nothing to match the second word.

Mrs. Hat has struggled with our old Atlas, but she hasn't fared any better!
