Convalescent Hospital - Mornington Lodge West Kensington 1917
« on: Wednesday 20 April 05 18:36 BST (UK) »
Hi, Everyone,
Does anyone know the exact location of a WW1 Convalescent Hospital that my great-uncle was at in 1917.  It was called Mornington Lodge in West Kensington...
The sad part of the story is that he became engaged to a young nurse there, but she died in the 1918 'flu epidemic..

Thanks very much, Mick,
This looks to be a very well-established and interesting site, which I hadn't realised existed, up to now.  Lots of threads to look at...
