Looking for any information on the following family of Ryan's. Migrated in 1856 Shipping Record
The name of the ship that they sailed to Australia, Melbourne;The General Hewett in 1856, arriving October the same year.
Passenger no.203 Thomas 25yrs of County Clare, R.C
Passenger no.204 Mary 26yrs of County Clare R.C
Passenger no.205 1 BOB infant
Education Thomas:R&R
Own assistance to Melbourne.
They lived in Leopold area of Geelong region, There were 7 girls and ! boy.
Bridget b. 1856
Eliza b.1869
Elizabeth b.1870 d.1938 m Custerson
Mary Ann b.1858
Johannah b. 1863 d. 1936 m Rowsell
Margaret b.1860
Elizab. 1867 d.1867

This is all I have, there must be descendants out there somewhere would be interested if anyone comes up with any further information to assist.

    Thank  you! That was incredible I have not been able to find much on the Ryan's except the lines I mentioned! Hopefully now I can obtain further certificates. The name Ryan in Ireland is like Smith so by getting this info, certificates may lead me to the correct area of Clare Ireland to search in. I have found on certificates conflicting information like Bunratty,Limerick and so on. Bun ratty was also a district covering a large area, I have written to most Priest in these areas with no luck, but now with a few more lines to trace may have some hope.
