how do i update my old posts?
« on: Thursday 10 March 11 09:30 GMT (UK) »
i have some posts that i made a while ago, but i dont want them to be lost in the huge vat that is rootschat. people are joining all the time, and i would like some of the older posts to be reposted as new. i have no extra info to add to these posts i just want to ensure that new members will read them?

Sorry but bumping up posts isn't allowed- after all, what if everyone decided to do it?
Rootschat posts do come up quite quickly in search engines such as Google so if anyone searches for a particular name or detail you've already posted they'll probably find their way to your previous posts.
You could also add your details to the Surname Interests Table (click on 'surnames' button at top of page) if you haven't done so already.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
