Haig families in Alloa and Dollar

I am struggling to find a connection between an Elizabeth Haig, daughter of Robert and Janet McGowan, born in 1827 in Dollar and Elizabeth Haig, daughter of James and Janet Pierson/Pearson born in 1768 in Alloa.  I know most of the Haigs are in Alloa and am struggling to find when they first are in Dollar.  I know they are very close together.  I am hoping someone has done some research on either of these families.

Hi lesliebd,

I'm not sure if this is relevant to you, but I have Ramsay family roots in Alloa, Dollar and Saline although the earliest dates are around 1760. I haven't come across any Haigs, but I have Taylors and Tods.

I have quite a bit of info if you are interested. May be completely different families of course!
