FORREST family / Scotland

I wonder if anyone who has any Scottish Forrests in their tree would be willing to send me what info they have so that I could add it to my site.

In return, I'd happily give you access to my site which currently has around 650 Forrests on it, primarily from the Central regions but I'm slowly expanding it.

I wondered if you have a  Duncan Forrest and a  Christian Borrowman somewhere in your branches. Hailing from the Lanarkshire area?.
They were married 24/3/1816.

I have no Duncan Forrest in my data at all. 
Do you know Duncans parents names?

My name is Alexander Forrest MILNE. I am named after my father Alexander Forrest MILNE who was named after an uncle Alexander D. FORREST. Alexander FORREST b. abt 1875 in Montrose, Angus d. 14 Oct 1936 in Montrose, Angus married my gr-aunt Annabella Scott DAKERS b. 17 Feb 1874 in Montrose, Angus d. 26 Nov 1955 in Montrose, Angus. I have been told by family members that they had a son and grandson also named Alexander FORREST but I have no details on dates or places of birth. The parents of Alexander FORREST were John FORREST b. abt 1845 in Brechin, Angus and Helen DUNCAN b. abt 1848 in Dun, Angus.

Does any of this tie in with your FORRESTs?

I see from your web site that you are also researching the MORE family. My wife's mother was Isabella Reid MORE b. 12 May 1913 in Maryhill, Glasgow dau. of Gavin Rankine MORE and Jessie McDONALD. I have very little more than this on this family. Do we have a connection here?

I only have one More in my database...
Janet More, who married Peter Forrest.  They had 1 daughter that I have traced - Mary Forrest b17 March 1821 in Killearn.
So, unless they had sons that I haven't found, or mary had an illegitimate child, there will be no connection to your More line.

  RUBBISH 

I'm getting confused.  Any connection to your More would have to go back to Janet More's parents at least.  I have no other info on More at the moment.
