Probate Records
« on: Sunday 13 March 11 10:28 GMT (UK) »

Good Morning all,

Would someone be kind enough to advise me how I can get hold of probate records for a George Tilsley who died in Stafford in 1962?

Thanks.

This may help.
The National Archives research guides

Wills and Death Duty Records, after 1858

Wills before 1858:

There is also a help guide on the Rootschat London and Middlesex boards (though it is helpful for understanding wills and the process generally)

Hi Joe

Do you know if there is a grant of probate or letters of administration?

Dawn
