Kinloch Bequest
« on: Sunday 13 March 11 13:09 GMT (UK) »
My great great great great grandfather, Thomas Urquhart, from Turriff, Aberdeenshire, was a private in the 10th Regiment of Foot, probably the second battalion. He was in Sicily in 1808. He returned to Aberdeenshire and was in receipt of a pension from the Kinloch Bequest (for wounded Scottish soldiers). I would be interested to hear from anyone who has done any research into records of the Kinloch Bequest.

Thanks,

Graham.

Thomas is also my 4 times great grandfather.
I know this is an old thread but I found it via Google, I hope you get to read this as it would be great to swap information.
