Hi Can anyone help me find  family who lived in Wybunbury. Their name is Hayes I know Joseph Hayes died 1851 and he was a sexton at the local church. Also does anyone know where I can find an old map of the area. Thanks

Hi lynnc7, welcome to RootsChat
Just had a quick look..Joseph Hayes and family are on the 1841 & 51 census Wybunbury, do you have those? :-\
Let's know.
Maybe if you ask for a specific look up request on the top of the Cheshire board, it will be noticed by more people, you could be overlooked on this thread.

Have you tried googling Cheshire tithe maps....they show the old tithe maps on one half of the screen and the relevant area OS map on t'other.
Hope that helps ;)

Hi Liverbird09
Thanks for the information. I do have some of those documents. A more specific question will be a good idea.
I'll try that next time.
Thanks again for your help

Hello June,

I realise this is some years since your original message!  but I too am researching the Mulliners in the Audlem, Adderley, Market Drayton, Cheswardine  areas and have quite a few of their wills.   If you are interested  please send me a message and I would be very happy to share the information I have  (or indeed with anyone out there)

best wishes

Joining this thread VERY belatedly, and more in hope than expectation! I am researching John and Ann Mulliner, parents of Elizabeth born 1815 in Stapeley, who married William Bayley in 1840. Thought I had identified her parents but now it seems there are a lot of possibilities, after flogging through Ancestry, Findmypast and Familysearch. Does anyone else have an interest in these people?
