In our search for details for James Sutherland (b. abt 1791. Harpsdale, Hallkirk, Caithness)
a Sutherland cousin of mine came across the birth records for a James Sutherland. Using the naming pasterns, area and the time period it seems to be a possible match. To rule out or help confirm we would like to find more details of  these people (parents), what we have is:

James, lawful son of James Sutherland and Isobel Sutherland in Harpsdale Way, 4th Oct 1788, Witnesses Donald Gow and William Sinclair.

Would like to find marriage details and possible siblings of James (1788). Also Isobel's maiden name or is she another Sutherland.

I know its a big ask given the name and place but you may never learn if you never ask.

Any help or hints will be greatly appreciated.
