Well maybe it should have been posted in Denbighshire, but having said that;Have you any idea as to their birthyears and places to possibly find them in the earlier Census years?

I'm not seeing a Thomas Davies as the son of a Samuel and Ann Davies born anywhere in Flintshire in the earlier Census years. Was Thomas married to an Elizabeth and living in Broughton Denbighshire in 1871?

I think I'll stick my neck out that the Sarah was a Sarah Edwards the daughter of an Evan Edwards. She married a John Smith at Nercwys St Mary in 1874.

thankyou for taking the time to look
yes evan is sarahs father , her  mother is charlotte smith

i dont know who thomas's previous wife was ,
the thomas on the 1881 at gresford- gwersyllt is definately our thomas and sarah ,
we know this because with them is sarahs son john smith b 1874/75 ,
he is  from her previous marriage to john smith ,
we have the marriage cert for sarah and john smiths marriage

we have been told in the past that  thomas and sarah had  connections with "mold and ruthin"

i guess i may have to send off for the cert
thankyou for looking for me
regards

note : have now found out thomas's parents were not samuel and ann
