My name is Tiffany and i am from Christchurch New Zealand, my great grandmother was Ada Hough from the Chatham Island who married Frank Hebley Grooby, can you please tell me if you have any photo's of her or her family i have been trying for many years to try and track my family history growing up in Australia i never had the chance now i am her in NZ all my grandparents etc have passed away, so any help would be much appreciated .

I am currently out of New Zealand and not home until the end of May. 

In the interim you may consider the Alexander Turnbull Library for the W B Burt Collection where the photographs came from or even contact the Chathams Island Museum which can be found on the website for the Chatham Island District Council ... Google !!

I have also done searches for "For early Chatham Islands photographs" on Google that has meet with some success.  The Canterbury Museum and Papers Past and other similar agencies have provided useful results.

Sorry I cannot help further at this time.
