I am looking for info on Evelyn Lucas, b.1929? in Rhyl North Wales, her Mother's name was Edith Jane Lucas nee (Jones) Edith married a William Jack Lucas but I am lead to believe that Evelyn wasn't Jack's Daughter, but Jack did have 5 Children with Edith.
Jones, Thomas, Carr, McDougall, Tatlock, Naylor, Gordon, Brentnall, Parry, Brotherton.

Have you had a look on FreeBMD? (NB if Evelyn was born to Edith before the marriage she may have been registered as JONES rather than LUCAS). The only likely marriage for Evelyn's parents I can find is this one, which doesn't match the location you suggest for her birth:

Did Evelyn marry, and if so to whom? Also, is she now deceased? (Info can't be posted on this site about living people).  Assuming she has died, do you know when and where and in what name?

I know Evelyn is deceased, she married Lionel  Steele in Wiltshire. I am not certain where William & Edith Married. I do know  that lived sometime in Dorset. They married in 1928, on boxing day.

That is helpful as it gives some middle initials for Evelyn (Evelyn K B LUCAS was her name at marriage in 1946, Swindon).

Finding her birth registration is the first step, though it may not answer your question if the birth was out of wedlock & father not named on the certificate. She's a bit elusive at the minute on FreeBMD, but I will have another go at finding her.

Was JONES definitely Edith's maiden name - she hadn't been married before?

Edith's Maiden name was definitely Jones, She was my Grandad's sister. But I don't really much about her, and I never met her.
