Do you mean her baptism in particular, as opposed to her birth registration (which may well be easier to find).

Whichever it is, we would need more information as to where she was from in order to help you find it (there will be a huge number of JONES births/baptisms, especially in Wales if she was born there). You have already said that she was your grandfather's sister and that her mother's maiden name was BROTHERTON, which suggests you know more about the family than is on this thread. If you can provide what you know, no doubt Rootschatters will do what they can to help you progress.

Edith was born in 1906, in Llanasa. Parents Edward Owen Jones & Evelyn Augusta Jones. I am trying to research when and where she was baptised. I am trying to find out on behalf of my cousin, His grandmother was Edith ( he never knew her as she an inpatient at Wallingford hospital, she had the middle name of Jane. Not many in the family will talk about her, the only one that had anything to do with her was my Grandfather but he is deceased.

I know Evelyn is deceased, she married Lionel  Steele in Wiltshire. I am not certain where William & Edith Married. I do know  that lived sometime in Dorset. They married in 1928, on boxing day.

   

   hello I seen this post when searching for my great nan and noticed you are speaking of my nan and grandad Evelyn kathleen, Lionel Steele.     they are my mums parents.  can I ask how you are related to edith also... no William wasn't my nans father. what I don't get though my nan pasted away 2 weeks before edith..  as edith was sectioned for what she did. the reason i know this is because the hospital rang my grandad asking for my nan saying she had pasted away.  also my antie visited edith in hospital

Just seen your reply to this thread , Edith Lucas was my Grandfather's Sister, making Evelyn my Grandfather's niece. My Grandfather was called Bertram Harrison Jones he was the third eldest brother of Edith.

I'm shocked as I was lead to believe edith was the only child.  trying to get information from my mother and anties and uncles is finding very difficult as too they don't speak of edith that much.  do you know much more information about edith?   did your grandfather ever meation more?

Bertram Harrison ( My Grandfather)

Agnes Frances

Walter Bowen
Victor Allenby
Percival Brotherton.

I know my Grandfather kept in touch with Edith. would often send money to her & visit her. I only know this from my Father, son of Bertram Harrison, I was nearly 10 when Edith died.

Edith, my Grandfather, & Evelyn all died in 1984

I notice all the names you have given for the children of Evelyn & Edward
have been registered on Northwales BMD in the district Whitford
and registers are at Flintshire (Mold)

Northwalesbmd has one for Edith JONES Whitford the year is 1905
the only other for 1906 is for an Helena Edith Jones

This looks to be the corresponding birth entry on FreeBMD

Llanasa & Whitford are in the registration district of Holywell

Have you checked the 1939 Register for Edith & Evelyn this would give you her dob?

using the free search with the names given these came up for Edith, William & Evelyn in
Cricklade & Wootton Bassett R.D. Wiltshire

William L LUCAS 1907
Evelyn K L Steele (Lucas) 1926

Her parents Edward Owen Jones 1872 & Evelyn A 1876
are living in Holywell R.D. Flintshire in 1939

I listed the children of Evelyn Augusta & Edward Owen Jones for Catherine Hobbs, as she didn't know Edith had siblings.

I don't have a subscrition for the 1939 register.
