Can anyone help please, looking for the marriage of Michael Banahan to Mary Flannagan about 1866, have Annaghbeg Roscommon , listed on my great grandfathers birth cert so it could be they area where they got married, Roscommon Registration Office dont hold this info on them,

After my PM I looked at the 1901 census for a lead on family members
There are only 105 Banahans listed in Ireland - All bar 5 are in Roscommon

Also there are Flanagans and Banahans neighbours in Annaghbeg, Roscommon listed This townland is just outside Strokestown

If the Roscommon Registry Office couldn't locate the record it's possible that they married in a catholic church before 1864 (when civil registration of Catholic marriages started).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Awww Thank you Myluck the Flanagan looks good, lots of family christian names there on the Banahan side.

Aghadowey if thats the case then I guess the church if I can find it could hold a record....
