1911 Census Problems!
« on: Wednesday 06 April 11 18:51 BST (UK) »
I have been acquiring a few 1911 Census extracts from Scotlands People, about a dozen so far, and I've run into a couple of annoyances. One extract didn't give the address, rather ditto marks continuing from a previous page and in another case, it stated that there were 10 people living in the household, but ony 8 were listed. As it was the bottom of the page and there was no line underneath, I assume that the other 2 were on another page. I don't think I should pay double to see a single household. Has anyone else ran into similar or other difficulties?

Hi GDub71

Unfortunately, households split over two pages can be an issue which do require you to view (and pay for) the two images  :-\ This applies to all the censuses (1841-1911) where household entries ran over two pages.

I did get lucky mind you with one extract where I found 3 related households on the same page!
