Could SKS please look up Bertrum Pyatt in the 1901 census. He was born in Cheadle area in 1898.

Be gentle with me..I'm new to this forum lark.

It's really weird to see people outside my family researching my grandad and his brothers. I've got something like 7 generations of the Pyatt family history. The links are fascinating - Pyatt / Tipper / Waugh / Hall / Hawley. Cheadle has/had 3 distinct Pyatt families - unrelated - from the early 1800's on.

I'd be most interested to know who else is working on this.

Currently trying to tie down descendants of Bertram who my father told me may have emigrated to South Africa, and the other to NZ or Austalia between 1935 and 1960ish.
