Hi Essexbird,

When you're not busy I'd love to see any information you have on Gibson burials.

Meanwhile, Happy Christmas from an Essex lad     ;)

Many thanks, Kath, very much appreciated. That must have been a grim day indeed for poor old Joshua  :(

I reckon he must have been related, if there were so few Gibsons, but I have a couple of missing generations to fill in as my 3g/grandfather Thomas Gibson was born c1814 in Gt. Waltham. He had a son named Joshua!

I had a very nice Christmas thanks, and hope you did.

Happy New Year,

Mike.  :)

Hi Sue

John Mast alias Norfolk buried 24/6/1732

He's the only one sorry

Thought you might be interested in these Baptisms of Great Waltham

Mary daughter of John & Margaret Mast 9/12/1709
Johannah daughter of John & Margaret Mast alias Norfolk 4/2/1716

looks like the 'Alias Norfolk' was added between 1709 & 1716 afraid i cannot tell you as to why it is there.
