Hello, think I've found her on the 1890 census at 18 Bath Road, Bradford South Eastern, Wiltshire living with her aunt and uncle and siblings, all people born Bradford, Wilts:

ROGERS Samuel, 61, Head, Stone Mason
ROGERS Martha, 62, Wife
MOULD Esther, 8, Niece
MOULD Nellie, 6, Niece
MOULD Elsie, 1, Niece

Will look on the 1901 next  :)

If the Elsie I've found above is right then I can't find her on the 1901 census.  At 18 Bath Road, Bradford the head of household is still Samuel ROGERS stone mason but his wife is no longer there and he has living with him his son  and daughter in law Herbert and Alice ROGERS and their 6 children Herbert, Seymour, Hilda, Lilian, Ivy and Eliza ranging in age from 12 years to 2 years.

The most likely female E* Mould in 1901 is Eliza Emma MOULD aged 13 born in Box, Wiltshire, an Inmate at Millers Orphan Houses, Ashley Down, Bristol.   Here's a fascinating page all about this huge orphanage - got quite sidetracked there for a minute!  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Orphan_Houses,_Ashley_Down,_Bristol

Not very conclusive but hopefully of some help

Elsie Annie MOULD and Frank WILSON married Q3 1906 Bath 5c 1026  Have you got the marriage certificate?  That should show her father's name and occupation which might help.

Seems the Eliza MOULD in the orphanage is unlikely to be the right person.

You're welcome, but having searched censuses on three sites I don't think she'll be found on the 1901 census.  Seems the marriage certificate is your best chance of getting any further.

Regards, Heather

p.s. or alternatively a better option would be to order her birth certificate Q2 1889 Bradford W, 5a 127

Correct - Eliza's parents were Henry and Mary.

Their entry in the parish marriage register has "No father" for the bride (FreeREG), which would seem to make a girl from an orphanage quite likely.

Of course that doesn't preclude her being the daughter of Henry and Mary (nee Hancock). She was registered as Elsie E Mould in the Corsham sub-district in 1887, which fits very well with the orphan Elsie Emma born in Box aged 13 in 1901. (She is Elsie in the census, not Eliza.)

BUT... Elsie Emma Mould, born Box about 1888, is an unmarried servant in Barry in the 1911 census. So she is definitely not the one who married in 1906. She is still the daughter of Henry and Mary though.

Note also that one of the witnesses at Elsie Mould's wedding was Herbert Sidney Rogers. It would seem that the Elsie who married Frank Wilson was the Elsie Annie registered in 1889 and that she was probably the daughter of Frederick Mould and Eliza A Rogers, who married at Bradford on Avon in 1882. A Frederick Mould died there in Q2 1889, aged 26.
