Hi

There is a tree on Ancestry with full details of this family on it. Is it yours?

They have Caroline Baldy born 1845,Heathfield Sussex. Parents Thomas Baldy 1811 and Mary A Fuller 1814 -1895.

If it isn't your tree, what information do you already have so that we don't repeat it?

Interesting - on two fronts ....

wonder who the Caroline Baldy who married a Dyball (William) in Greenwich 1866 was ?

and where was Thomas Dyball in 1851/1861 ?

From 1871 he uses Ashby de la Zouche as his Pob (and there is a Birth Regn entry to confirm that in 1842)

Looks as if they travelled around a bit as in 1861 they are in Essex

RG 09/1055/67/12
13, Bennetts Terrace All Saints, Westham. Essex

William  50    Coach maker
Mary     48
THOMAS 18  coach maker
George 11
Mary     ?
James  4

The coach maker fits with father's  occupation on the marriage certificate.

good finds  8)

were you using FindMyPast?

Ancestry seems to have given up trying to transcribe that page in 1851!

EG:-

William - Parents William & Mary c1834   Son   Enumerated in Rugby, Warwickshire  (No PoB)

then -

 ???       c1843   Son Rugby, Warwickshire

and the 1861 Refn in Ancestry shows the names OK, but has Thomas' PoB as Norwich ..

Give up!  :P
