Dear Gibby,

Please try to remember that RootsChatters don't actually know what it is that you know about Thomas  :-\   Nor do they necessarily know what you consider to be all the information that there is to be had about Michael, since you have not shared it or its sources.  Granted, it is often very hard to know how much - or how little - detail to give in a request, just in case you overwhelm people.

Sometimes there is a duplication of information offered - is that necessarily a bad thing?  How does anyone know what is hidden away in your research notes? Occasionally it reminds us of snippets of information that perhaps are deserving of a second look.  I know that is the case in my own research.

I encourage everyone to give you the benefit of the doubt about your use of capital letters.  Perhaps you did not realise that this is considered to be shouting at people.  I really hope that is not what you intended. ;)

Best of luck in your research.  :)

Please close this thread down, thanks.

I will continue my research elsewhere.

Hallmark,

This may be the marriage for Thomas and Ellen- in Oristown 25th July 1867 but there are no other clues.

Heywood

I have had this information for some time that I found on an Irish website.  I have not been able to find a marriage certificate to go with the information.
